Operation manual of American INTERSCAN 4000 series gas analyzer

The patented INTERSCAN two-electrode sensor has a series of advantages. The INTERSCAN sensor electrolyte is inactive, similar to the electrolyte in flash lamps and nickel-cadmium batteries, so there is no need to consider battery damage or acid damage to the instrument. The reduction of free electrolyte will eliminate undesired sensor noise interference, especially when low concentration measurement requires high magnification. The INTERSCAN sensor has a sealed gas storage chamber, which not only makes the sensor life longer, but also eliminates the possibility of reference electrode contamination. Unlike three-electrode sensors that need to be operated in air, INTERSCAN sensors can be used in anaerobic environments.
