Red-winged wood (scientific name: red rose, also known as rose zebra wood)

Endothelial yellowish brown; bast fiber is more developed; stone cells are granular and distributed in the proximal skin. Wood characteristics: Glossy texture until slightly staggered; slightly uniform in structure; weight and hardness are slightly inferior to mahogany; high strength; dry shrinkage is very large. The veneer has good cutting and cutting performance; the nail holding force is strong, and the hole must be punched first; the adhesive performance is good. Dry slowly and good quality. The air dry density was 0.72 g/cm3 (redwood 0.76 g/cm3). Wood use: Suitable for the manufacture of musical instruments as well as high-end furniture, engineering structures, heavy construction, joinery, plywood, mouldings, decorative veneers, cabinets, car interiors, etc. Compared with all kinds of mahogany, the most cost-effective.
