Cardboard foaming at start-up After a period of one-sided machine shut-down, a temporary non-circular appearance on the lower corrugating roll or pressure roll causes spherical foaming. After the machine restarts for a while, blistering disappears.
the reason
a. Condensate accumulates in the lower corrugated roll or pressure roll
b. Deformation of the lower corrugating roller when the vacuum system of the lower corrugating roller is not heated or the vacuum chamber of the lower corrugating roller is used to obtain the vacuum effect
a. Check the siphon Check the pressure difference between the steam inlet and the return line. The minimum differential pressure during normal operation must not be less than 5 psi.
b. Minimize the number of stoppages. Consider disengaging the upper corrugating roller and the lower corrugating roller and idling it when it is stopped. If possible, reinstall the heated corrugating roller. If the consumption of the following method is lower than that when the lower corrugating roller is started under cooling, consider cutting the core paper and let the single-faced machine idle until it reaches an even temperature, then reload the core paper and start it.
