New techBEX extrusion line

The new "techBEX" extrusion line becomes the most popular choice for producing small and technical profiles

techBEX is an extrusion line designed and developed by Battenfeld China at the end of last year. It is specifically designed for the production of small and technical plastic profiles, such as semi-conductors, connectors and electronic components, as well as profiles for the furniture, automotive, air conditioning and lighting industries. These industries require very flexible production lines to process such as PVC, ABS, PE, PP, PMMA, PC, ASA, PA and many other thermoplastic materials at lower speeds.

In order to meet these requirements, Battenfeld began to develop the entire extrusion line, considering the provision of two different single-screw extruders as options, namely BCE1-45-25D and BCE1-60-25D. The 2500mm length vacuum bench has a vacuum pump and a very water-saving closed-loop water circulation system. The belt haul-off length is increased to 1200mm, and it is equipped with upper belt limit device, which ensures the soft traction of small and fragile profiles. Battenfeld developed two cutting machines. Small knife high-speed production, high-frequency cutting with a flying knife cutting machine, its tool is directly installed on the AC servo motor, automatic cutting frequency can be set up to 600 times per minute as required, can cut profiles with a cross section up to 5050mm Or diameter 63mm pipe. The other is the up-stroke cutting machine SP50E, whose cutting saw table movement is driven by a servo motor to obtain a more accurate cutting length.

Just as Battenfeld's renowned profile production lines miniBEX and winBEX, techBEX designed, developed and manufactured in China has compact, modular and “plug and play” features.
